The project was more than 3 years in the making. A lot of the project was just driving around the many highways and bridges of the San Francisco Bay Area on the way to and from work using a 15mm fisheye lens to capture passing motorcycles, large trucks, and amazing skies and scenery just outside my truck window.
This HDR before and after comparison was made while driving quite slow along Northbound Highway 680 before the Sonol grade in Fremont. Sadly this is one of those spots in the East Bay Area that has a slowdown every day.
This before and after HDR image was made on on Eastbound Highway 4 between Crockett and Martinez about two miles past Franklin Canyon golf course.
